The following is a really usefull windows command line tool which allows you to md5 hash any piece of text or file.

http://www.fourmilab.ch/md5/

Usage is as follows

md5 -d"Some text to md5 here"
md5 myfile.bin

To salt (haven’t tried) I guess you could do something like this..

md5 myfile.bin > hash1.txt
md5 hash1.txt > saltedhash.txt
